Welcome to e-fatti.com. E-fatti is my attempt to keep those who know me both here and abroad up-to-date with what is going on in my life and others who are still here with me in Dunedin New Zealand.
After graduating (May 2002) I have found that for the most part everyone has grown up and left the comforts of Otago University for jobs around New Zealand and in the big wide working world, doing their own thing, making harder to stay in touch compared to the old days of visiting a flat or two.
However nearly everyone has access in some way or other to the internet, so in the year 2002 e-fatti was born. Being a Computer Science major I thought it only right to maintain a web site in attempts to stay in touch 24-7. So on and off throughout the year e-fatti had various pictures and information until lack of time or the fact that I simply got lazy lead to e-fatti going offline.
It wasnt until New Years Eve 2003 in Wanaka New Zealand was the idea of an online forum named BestBeUpdated by Andie, born. With the New Years resolution to have BestBeUpdated up and running as soon as possible came an urge to make full use of my website again and put e-fatti back on the map.
Not only is the plan to update e-fatti and show off photos taken from hiking in some of the most beautiful areas of New Zealand with the Otago University Tramping Club (OUTC), but also to make my mark in search engine giant google. For those who might think this is an easy task please think again. Months of reading about search engine optimization and applying it for my work leads me to believe this will be a very long task. Currently the search words "Jared Mitchell" have e-fatti in the 3rd position of about 163,00.
For now enjoy my latest photos, post to BestBeUpdated and remember it is not hard to pick up a phone or write an email to keep in touch.
