Welcome to my hiking logs. In this section of e-fatti you will find a list of the trips I have undertaken lately, some of which I have written about in an effort to share some of the experiences I have had with the OUTC and also close friends. Trips I have had time to write up may also have photos of areas related to the trip, and a map if available.
I hope you enjoy these logs and remember I have a BSc in computer science, not English, so please bare with me if they are not grammatically correct.

Lake Alabaster on the Hollyford track - Fiordland. (March 21st-23rd)
Abel Tasman Adventure - Marlborough Sounds. (April 19th-22nd)
The Routeburn Track - Fiordland. (May 9th-11th)
11.45am and the first of us were quickly away over Harris Saddle heading for our lunch stop at the Emergency shelter. Fond memories were brought back whe the shelter was finally sighted. Last Feb (2002) I found myself, and 27 others, sleeping practically on top of each other due to bad weather. READ MORE

Mt Somers - Canterbury. (May 9th-11th)
With the afternoon sun quickly fading away, a fast decent to the car park was in order. But plans don't always work out and after making it off the snow Alex realised he had lost one of his gloves so he bolted back up to our lunch spot only to find nothing. With Alex finally back we carefully studied the map to find the fastest way down. I decided to get down as quick as possible to let the rest of the group know we were running slightly late. READ MORE
